We had a lovely stay on New Year's Eve, enjoying the river views and the friendly atmosphere created by other guests. the location was ideal for exploring local attractions like Gordon Park and Shelly Beach, while the pool offered a nice spot to relax. we encountered cockroaches in our room, and although the reception staff was helpful, the manager's response to our concerns left much to be desired. it was affordable with charming quirks, but it definitely needs some attention to cleanliness.

The room was lovely little and well laid out and we had a lounge and a settee.

the studio suite overlooks the lake and includes a microwave, an electric kettle, and refrigerators. the location is stunning and beautiful and the staff are outstandingly accommodating. the hotel has a particularly good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. it offers very good services.

Had a delightful stay for the night on a road trip, glad I've chosen it. Overall it was relaxing and comfy for a tv. A microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator were a huge plus. the lovely and approachable staff accommodated all the needs.

A double room is budget, has a nice bathroom. The property's location is favourable and magnificent, very close to the River overlooking the oyster farms. And it's by Nambucca River.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

I enjoyed the spaciousness of the room and found the beds to be comfy, which made for a nice night's sleep. The location was also a great bonus. there were several cleanliness issues, such as stained carpets and concerns regarding the upkeep of the bathroom that need to be addressed for a better experience.

Saw it being built in 1968 / 69. always wanted to stay there. Was not disapointed. Thanks guys.

Not your fault, but when we got in from the Surf Club reunion, our car parking space was taken by the guy in the next room. I thought it a bit rude. had to park over at the fence. I was tempted to door knock, but as it was 1:30 am decided not to. I will stay there again one day as well as tell all my friends. Cheer's, Paul.

Located on the Pacific Highway but very low traffic noise. Pleasant grounds backing onto the river would be relaxing for a 2-3 day stay.

The rooms are looking quite tired, mould in the bathrooms. Quite a distance out of town so a drive was necessary to eat out.

The accommodation was exceptionally comfortable. Pool was very clean. Beds were extremely comfy. Thoroughly enjoyed my good sized room; it had a patio, a lounge area, and a settee. the hotel had a central location and was around 4-6 minutes' walk from a flagship library.

close to highway & near river

used my booking details of bankcard for payment & when I checked online was taken twice, rang & told them, then the credit was given. what would have happened if I hadn't checked on line

The room was very clean, the shower was hot and the room confortable.

Alrhough the water in the shower was hot the shower head could improve.

The staff was amazingly friendly. the location was exceptionally nice and perfect. the room was a charming little and a decent size in general, for the kids to run around.

Clean, comfortable and convenient for our overnight stay.

A little dated and away from the town centre or shops

Simple hotel overall, is has good service and incredible location conveniently close to Nambucca township. The property offers neat, beautifully maintained rooms with plenty tea and the closest, as example. The staff are outstandingly accommodating and super-friendly and really care about the guests. The hotel has the restaurant with nice food.
